This unique wine in the world made from overripe grapes dried in the sun which ages 6 years in oak barrels. Its color is a deep amber with pretty orange reflections. On the nose, aromas of currant, nuts, honey and dried fruits dominate. Good acidity and a long aftertaste with notes of tobacco and marzipan. In the mouth, it keeps an unexpected freshness. Serve at a temperature of 12-14o C.
You can obviously associate it with all kinds of desserts such as a delicious baklava, a "Karidopita" nut cake, but also with sweet / savory dishes such as baked pork and quince confit, a duck with orange or another rabbit stifado with prunes ...
