"Tsigelo" is an alternative denomination for the "Mavrodaphne" grape variety. Indeed, the legislation allows only the well-known natural sweet wine to bear the name "Mavrodaphne".
It is therefore a trick to use the name of its most qualitative clone: "the Tsigelo".
So we have a dry wine from vineyards at an altitude of 650m on the coasts of Egialia.
The wine is aged for a few months in handmade clay amphora.
Beautiful freshness and authenticity to the key, purity and sharpness of fruit and rather soft tannic structure.
Do not hesitate to match it with all kinds of dishes as well as with fish dishes! Yes Yes !
